DSSSB PGT Teacher Vacancy 2025 Exam Pattern/Selection Process
The DSSSB will conduct a One-Tier Examination for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) post. The details for the Tier-I (Technical/Teaching) Exam are as follows:
Tier-I (Technical / Teaching) Examination Pattern as below
- Post Code: 824/24 to 834/24
- Duration: 3 Hours
- Total Questions (MCQs): 300
- Total Marks (MCQs): 300
- Grand Total Marks: 300
There are two sections of the written examination as below:-
Syllabus For Section I: This section includes MCQs of 1 mark each with the following topics:
- Mental Ability & Reasoning
- General Awareness
- English Language & Comprehension
- Hindi Language & Comprehension
- Numerical Aptitude & Data Interpretation
Total: 100 Marks (20 Marks each for 5 sections).
Syllabus For Section II: This section consists of MCQs related to the Post-Graduation qualification and teaching methodology required for the post. Total: 200 Questions (200 Marks).
For applicants of technical/teaching post codes, the mandatory minimum qualifying marks will only apply to Section II, which is subject-specific. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for Section I. However, the combined total marks from both Section I and Section II will be considered when preparing the final merit list, where applicable.
The questions in the examination will be available in both Hindi and English, except for the language papers, which will only be in the specific language. DSSSB holds the right to change or modify the examination scheme at any time before the exam, if necessary.
How to apply for DSSSB PTG Teacher Vacancy 2025
- Before applying online, candidates must ensure they are registered on the DSSSB portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in. Registration is a one-time process. Once registered, candidates can log in using the user ID and password for all DSSSB exams. If a candidate registers multiple times and appears for the exam more than once, their application will be canceled, and they will be banned from future DSSSB exams.
- Candidates can apply online between 16th January 2025 (Noon) and 14th February 2025 (11:59 PM). The online application link will be disabled after this period.
- Candidates should carefully read the online application instructions before applying. Only online applications will be accepted, and any applications submitted through other means (like by post, email, or hand) will be rejected.
- It is recommended that candidates submit their applications early to avoid issues with website traffic near the deadline. DSSSB is not responsible for any application issues caused by heavy website traffic.
