The EPFO Social Security Assistant exam will be conducted on 18, 21, 22 and 23 August 2023 and EPFO Stenographer exam will be conducted on 1 August 2023.

EPFO Social Security Assistant Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Details
Social Security Assistant (SSA)
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Stenographer
- 12th class pass from a recognized Board.
- Skill Test norms.
- Dictation: Ten minutes at the rate of eight words per minute.
- Transcription: Fifty minutes (English)/ Sixty-five minutes (Hindi). (Only on computer)

- The marks obtained in Phase–I will be considered for final selection on merit.

- The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase-I.
- If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions.
