India’s marine law enforcement and search and rescue organization is called the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). It is in charge of ensuring the safety and security of India’s territorial waters, maritime interests, and maritime environment and works under the Ministry of Defense. The Indian Coast Guard was founded as a separate armed unit of India on August 18, 1978.

Driver:
- Matriculation or equivalent pass.
- Valid Driving license for both Heavy and Light motor vehicle.
- Should have at least 02 year’s experience in driving motor vehicles.
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to repair minor defects in vehicles)
Fitter:
- Matriculation or equivalent pass.
- Two years‟ experience in automobile workshop.
- Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS):
- Matriculation or equivalent pass.
- Two years‟ experience in mechanical workshop.
