About ISRO URSC Recruitment 2024

U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) is one of the constituent Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS) responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing Program through Satellite Data Acquisition, Archival, Processing, Dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity Building. It has five Regional Centres located at Bengaluru, Nagpur, Kolkata, Jodhpur and New Delhi to address region/area specific Remote Sensing application needs. The Earth Station located at Shadnagar is being developed as a full-fledged Centre to carry out the entire chain of Remote Sensing activities.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age relaxation applicable as per notification rule.

Application Fee:

There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for each application. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) per application as processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:-

• ₹ 500/- :i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application
• ₹400/- :i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.

The Application fee will be collected only through Online mode vide SBI e-Payment gateway and the link for making the payment will appear on submission of the online application. The fee can be paid using any one of the following modes:

• Internet Banking
• Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
• Debit Cards (Domestic)

Eligibility Details for ISRO URSC Recruitment 2024:

Scientist/ Engineer:

• M.E/M. Tech / M.Sc. (Engg) or equivalent in relevant disciplines with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale with pre eligibility of B.E / B.Tech or equivalent qualification with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale.

Scientist/ Engineer:

• M.Sc or equivalent post graduate degree in relevant discipline with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA / CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.Sc with First Class.

Technical Assistant:

• First Class Diploma in Engineering in the relevant disciplines from a recognised University/ Institution.

Scientific Assistant:

• First Class Graduate in B.Sc. in the relevant disciplines from a recognised University / Institution.

Library Assistant:

• Graduate + First Class Master’s degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or Equivalent from recognized University / Institution.

Technician- B:

• SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant Trade from NCVT.

Draughtsman- B:

• SSLC/SSC/Matriculation + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant Trade from NCVT.

Fireman- A

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent.

Cook:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent + 05 years’ experience in well established Hotel/Canteen.

Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent + 03 Years’ Experience as Light Vehicle Driver.

Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’:

• SSLC/SSC Pass or its equivalent + 05 years experience out of which minimum 03 years as Heavy Vehicle Driver and the balance period driving experience of light motor vehicle.
