Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 11 Admission 2023 – Eligibility Criteria
- Only those candidates who are studying in Class X during the Academic Session 2023-24. (जो छात्र-छात्राएं 10वीं कक्षा में पढ़ रहा हो वे आवेदन कर सकते हैं।)
- Candidates who have passed class X prior to the session 2023-24 are not eligible. (जिन छात्रों ने 10वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण कर दी है वे आवेदन करने के पात्र नहीं है।)
Selection Process:
- After the conduct of selection test, provisional selection of students will be done as per following steps:
- District wise merit list will be prepared and students will be provisionally selected against the vacancies.
- The twin conditions of residence and study of Class-X from the district concerned only, will be considered under district wise merit list for filling up of vacant seats.
- After selecting students against the vacancies in the JNV of the district, a common merit list will be prepared at State level.
- Candidates from one state are not eligible for admission in another state.
NVS Navodaya Class 11 Entrance Exam Details
- Date of Examination – Saturday, 10th February 2024.
- Duration – 2½ hours. However, in respect of candidates with special needs (Divyang), additional time of 50 minutes will be provided.
- Centre for examination shall be the JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA of the district concerned/ any other Centre allotted by NVS.
- Medium of Language for Examination will be English/Hindi.
- Students have to answer in OMR sheet.
Composition of the Test:
The selection test will be of two- and half-hour duration from 11:00 am to 01:30 pm and will have 5 sections with, only objective type questions. There are 100 questions in all for 100 marks.
