BHU SET Class 9th and 11th Online Form 2023: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released an Official Notification for BHU School Entrance Test (SET) for Class 9th and 11th Admission . If any candidate who want to take the admission in BHU for Class 9th & 11th and complete the required eligibility. Than fill up their Application form through online mode. Last date for apply online is 30-03-2023.

Eligibility Details for BHU SET 2023

For Admission in Class 9th

• 13 Years to 15 years of age as on September 30, 2023 i.e. date of birth should not be before 30.09.2008 and after 30.09.2010 and have passed class VIII examination from a recognised school.

For Admission in Class 11th

• 18 Years of maximum age as on September 30, 2023 i.e. date of birth should not be before 30.09.2005 and have passed class X examination from a recognized Board/University with the required percentage of marks/grades as under noted: For external candidates (coming through SET):
  • (i) 60% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for admission in Maths & Biology Stream. Further 50% marks or equivalent grade and above is essential in each subject of Maths and Science.
  • (ii) 55% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for Commerce Stream.
  • (iii) Class X passed for Arts stream.

School Entrance Test (SET) Syllabus

For Class 9th:

• The Question Paper will be upto class VIII standard comprising 100 MCQs of subjects English, Hindi, Mathematics, Social Science and Science.

For Class 11th:

The Question Paper will be upto class X standard comprising 100 MCQs of subjects-

• Maths Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Gen. Studies.
• Bio Group: English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Gen. Studies.
• Arts Group: English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Maths and Gen. Studies.
• Commerce Group: English, Hindi, Economics, Maths and Gen. Studies.

Selection Process for BHU Class 6 School Admission

• On the basis of the marks obtained in the Entrance Test a Merit List will be drawn for admission in each class
