Education Qualification:

Constable: Minimum educational qualification for recruitment to the basic post of constable shall be Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination pass.

Age Limit:

इस नियमावली में सिपाही के पद पर नियुक्ति के लिए आयु का मानदंड वही होगा जो बिहार पुलिस में सिपाही के पद के लिए समय-समय पर सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा निर्धारित किया गया है।

Written Examination:

The standard of the written examination shall be that of 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent level of the Bihar School Examination Board and the questions shall be of objective type. There shall be two question papers in the written examination.

First question paper shall be of 100 questions of 100 marks in 90 minutes.
The second question paper shall be of 100 questions of 100 marks in 90 minutes.
In both the papers, 01 mark shall be given for each correct answer and 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
The subject and type of examination shall be as per the table given below.
The answer book shall be in duplicate, one copy of which shall be kept with the Selection Board and the other copy shall be given to the candidate.

Physical Standards:

उम्मीदवारों का शारीरिक मानक ऊंचाई, छाती और वजन के संबंध में बिहार पुलिस में कांस्टेबल की भर्ती के लिए निर्धारित मानदंडों के अनुसार होगा। जो उम्मीदवार निर्धारित मानदंडों के अनुसार पात्र नहीं पाए जाएंगे, उन्हें असफल माना जाएगा। शारीरिक मानकों के लिए कोई अंक निर्धारित नहीं होंगे।

Selection Process:

अभ्यार्थियों के लिए मेरिट सूची लिखित परीक्षा के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी। आरक्षण श्रेणी वार न्यूनतम Passing Marks वही होंगे जो सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग, बिहार सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर निर्धारित किये जाते हैं।
