CTET January 2024 Examination: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notification for CTET January 2024 Examination and invited Online application form form the eligible candidates. Application forms will be accepted through online mode between 03/11/2023 to 01/12/2023.

Those candidates who are inserted in CTET January 2024 Online Form are advised to read all the details carefully and apply application form through online mode before 1st December 2023.

About: CTET January 2024 Examination Online Form

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the CTET January 2024 Examination and for this CBSE has invited online application forms from the eligible candidates and apply date for CTET Jan 2024 online form is 03 to 23 November 2023.

Candidates can apply “ON-LINE‟ through CTET website https://ctet.nic.in.Thecandidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form and upload their scanned images of latest photograph &signature. After successful submission of data and requisite fee Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page.

Age Limit

• For CTET Jan 2024 Examination, There is No Age Limit for any candidate.

Education Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility for Class 1-5

• The Candidate who does Apply online Form They must pass Primary Stage Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by what ever name known) OR
• The Candidate who does Apply online Form They must pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known),following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
• The Candidate who does Apply online Form They must pass Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). OR
• The Candidate who does Apply online Form They must be pass Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
• The Candidate who does Apply online Form They must be pass Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” “(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatory undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher”.

Eligibility for Class 6-8

• The Candidate Must be Pass Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed); OR
• The Candidate Must be Pass Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed); OR
• The Candidate Must be Pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc. Ed or B.A.-Ed/B.Sc.Ed; or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).
• The Candidate Must be Pass Candidates who are appearing in the final year of bachelor degree in education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc are provisionally admitted and their CTET Certificate shall be valid only on passing the aforesaid examinations.
• The candidate not having any of the above qualifications shall not be eligible for appearing in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.
• The candidate should satisfy his/her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria.

CTET January 2024 Examination Pattern/Details:

All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark and there will be no negative marking. There will be two papers of CTET.

• Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
• Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Paper- 1 (From Class 1 to 5)

Duration of Exam: Two-and-a-half hours (2 Hour 30 Minute) Structure and Content (All Compulsory).

• Valid Mobile No.& Email id for OTP Verification

Size of Online Uploading Documents for CTET Jan 2024:

• Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
• Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
• Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
• Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).
