DSEU : Eligibility Details
Junior Mechanic :
- 03 Years diploma or equivalent from a recognized Institute / Board. OR
- Class 10th passed with ITI / National Trade Certificate/ National Apprenticeship Certificate with two years’ experience in the desired trade in a Government / Public Sector Undertaking.
- For Non-Technical: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with science subjects in the relevant (or an allied) subject field with two (02) years Industrial / Lab experience in the desired trade.
Workshop Assistant :
- 03 Years diploma in the relevant / allied subject. OR
- Class 10th passed with ITI / National Trade Certificate/ National Apprenticeship Certificate with two years’ experience in the desired trade in a Government / Public Sector Undertaking.
Senior Mechanic :
- 10th pass with science with ITI Certificate/ National Trade Certificate / National Apprenticeship Certificate with ten (10) years Industrial / Laboratory Experience. OR
- Three years State Board Diploma with five (05) years Industrial / Laboratory Experience in the desired trade. OR
- BCA with five (05) years Industrial / Lab Experience in the desired trade. OR
- BE / B.Tech in the relevant (or an allied) subject / field.
Junior Engineer :
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University.
Assistant Engineer :
- Degree in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized University. OR
- Junior Engineer with 8 years of regular service.
Executive Engineer :
- Possessing Degree in Engineering in relevant Branch / Stream.
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 7 years regular service.
- Have successfully completed two weeks course on contract law, e-governance, building bye-laws and building services.
Librarian :
- Master’s Degree in Library Science /Information Science / Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
- Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC.
DSEU : Selection Process
- Group A Posts the selection will be through interview, however the University reserves the right to adopt any criteria, as deemed fit, for short-listing the candidates for interview, including examination.
- Group B & C Posts the selection shall be made through examination and Skill Test, wherever applicable.
DSEU : Syllabus
- Duration of Examination: 2:00 Hours
- Type of Questions: MCQ
- No. Of Questions: 100
- Maximum Marks: 100
- There will be no negative marking.
- Junior Mechanic (Technical) / Workshop Assistant (Mechanical): Syllabus of Diploma in Engineering of relevant branch / stream as per Board of Technical Education, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi.
- Junior Assistant (Non-Technical): Syllabus of CBSE Higher Secondary of concerned / relevant subject.
- Senior Mechanic (Technical/Non-Technical): Syllabus UG Program of concerned / relevant Subject.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): Syllabus of Diploma in Engineering of relevant branch / stream as per Board of Technical Education, Govt. Of NCT of Delhi.
- Assistant Engineer (If Exam Held for Short-listing Purpose): Syllabus GATE in concerned / relevant Branch / Stream / Subject.
- Librarian (If Exam Held for Short-listing Purpose): Syllabus of UGC-NET of concerned subject.
