Eligibility Criteria for JK Police Constable Recruitment
- Candidate must have 12th Pass from a recognized board or university.
- Post wise detailed qualification details are available on Official Website.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be complete through these following steps-
- Written Examination
- Physical Slandered Test
- Physical Endurance Test
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification
Written Examination
- The Examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will be set in English Language only.
- There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth of marks assigned to that question.
- The candidates possessing National Cadet Corps (NCC) Certificate shall be awarded bonus marks.
Physical Slandered Test
The candidates shall be shortlisted for appearing in the physical standard test on the basis of written test which shall be six times the total number of vacancies to be filled up in each category. The shortlisted candidates should meet the following physical standards:

Physical Endurance Test
The candidates who meet the above physical standards shall be required to undergo physical endurance test, which shall consist of the following:
For Male candidates:
- Long Race: 1600 meters in 6 1/2 minutes (Six minutes thirty seconds)
- Pushups: 20 (one cycle of up and down to be counted as one)
For Female candidates
- Long Race: 1000 meters in 6 1/2 minutes (Six minutes and thirty seconds)
- Shot put(4Kgs): 14 1/2 feet in three attempts.
