About- NVS Non Teaching

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (residential co-educational school system under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Ministry of Education, Govt. of India), invites applications from eligible candidates for empanelment and engagement of the services PGTs/TGTs purely on contract basis for the academic session 2024-25 in JNVs run in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh & Odisha through Online on or before 26.04.2024. JNVs being residential in nature make it mandatory for the teachers to reside in the Vidyalaya campus to attend residential school duties besides teaching.

NVS TGT and PGT Recruitment 2024- Eligibility Conditions

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of degree course.
• Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed
• by the NCTE, for the purpose.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

• Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognized university/institute, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in COMPETITIVE EXAM AND INTERVIEW.
