Essential Qualification :-

A Candidate Should Have Minimum 55% Marks At The Master’s Degree or Equivalent Level. Relaxation Of % Marks Will Be Given At Master’s Level.

• For SC/ ST Candidates Of The State.
• For Physically Challenged Persons From Any Part Of The Country But Both Benefits Shall Not Be Admissible To The Same Candidates.

Besides Fulfilling The Above Qualification, The Candidates Must Have Cleated The National Eligibility Test (NET) Conducted By  The UGC, CSIR or Similar Test Accredited By The UGC (Like: SLET/ SET) Provided That The Candidate who has been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure Regulation 2009) for award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree shall be exempted from passing the NET/SLET/SET. Further provided that the candidate who has been awarded Ph.D. degree prior to the implementation of University Grants Commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure Regulation, 2009) shall also be exempted from the requirement of Passing the NET/SLET/SET subject to the fulfillment of following conditions.

• (a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;
• (b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examines;
• (c) The candidate has published two research papers out which out of which at least one in a refereed journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work;
• (d) The candidate has presented two papers in seminars/conferences out of his/her Ph.D. work;
• (e) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted.

Point (a) to (e) as above are to be certified by the Dean of the respective faculties.

Essential Qualification For Law :-

Good Academic record as defined by the concerned authority with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed, at the Bachelor Degree level in Law form an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredit foreign University. Besides this:- Senior Advocates (designated or non- designated) practicing in District Courts and High Courts having at least 15 years of professional experience and intending to offer Lectures in centers of Law Institutes are eligible to apply as a part time Lecture/Assistant Professor (Part Time)
OR
Has worked as Judicial Magistrate/Judge for ten years.
OR
Has taught at least ten years at Judicial Academy,

OR
Has completed the Post-graduation in Law as per UGC norms with 55% marks.
