Education Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:
Operator cum Technician
(Trainee) [Electrical]:- Matriculation with 03 years (full time) Diploma in Electrical discipline from a Govt. recognized Institute.
Attendant cum Technician (Trainee):- Matriculation with ITI in a designated
Trade and completion of apprenticeship training of minimum 01 year duration in a designated trade from an Iron Ore Mine owned by an Integrated Steel Plant [ISP] (both Iron Ore Mine & ISP located in India) with National Apprentice Certificate recognized by NCVT/NCVET.

SAIL Selection Process:
- योग्य उम्मीदवारों को एक परीक्षा में शामिल होना होगा जो कंप्यूटर आधारित (सीबीटी) हो सकती है, जिसकी जानकारी एडमिट कार्ड में दी जाएगी।
- ऑनलाइन टेस्ट (सीबीटी) में उनके प्रदर्शन के आधार पर शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए उम्मीदवारों को सेल के करियर पेज के माध्यम से स्किल/ट्रेड टेस्ट (जैसा कि पद के लिए लागू हो) में शामिल होने के लिए सूचना भेजी जाएगी।
- वेबसाइट। परीक्षा (सीबीटी) के लिए अंकों का वेटेज 100% होगा। स्किल/ट्रेड टेस्ट केवल क्वालिफाइंग प्रकृति का होगा।
- परीक्षा (सीबीटी): अनंतिम रूप से पात्र उम्मीदवारों को प्रबंधन द्वारा तय किए गए किसी भी केंद्र पर बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्नों वाले वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार के परीक्षण (सीबीटी) के लिए उपस्थित होना होगा।
- अनारक्षित पदों/ईडब्ल्यूएस के लिए ऑनलाइन टेस्ट (सीबीटी) में न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक 50 प्रतिशत स्कोर के आधार पर निर्धारित किए जाएंगे। एससी/एसटी/ओबीसी (एनसीएल)/पीडब्ल्यूबीडी उम्मीदवारों के लिए न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक केवल उनके लिए आरक्षित पदों के संबंध में 40 प्रतिशत स्कोर होगा।
- कौशल/व्यापार परीक्षण: परीक्षा (सीबीटी) में अर्हता प्राप्त करने वालों में से, उम्मीदवारों को योग्यता के क्रम में श्रेणीवार 1:3 के अनुपात में कौशल के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा।
- अंतिम चयन के लिए, कौशल/ट्रेड टेस्ट में अर्हता प्राप्त करने वाले उम्मीदवारों द्वारा परीक्षा (सीबीटी) में प्राप्त कुल अंकों के आधार पर प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए अलग-अलग अवरोही क्रम में मेरिट सूची तैयार की जाएगी।
