Eligibility Details
Education Qualification:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates must have passed the 12th class or any equivalent examination from recognized board.
Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed the 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or any equivalent examination from recognized board.
Nationality:
- Indian citizen, OR
- A Nepalese or Bhutanese subject, or a Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, with the aim of permanently settling OR
- Migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and certain East African countries (Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda, or Vietnam) with the intention of settling in India
- Foreign nationals (except Gorkhas) will need to produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
