Selection Process of West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2024:

The recruitment process will be completed in following stages :-

• Preliminary Written Test (100 Marks)
• Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Final Written Exam (85 Marks)
• Interview (15 Marks)

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

For Male Warder:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify in PMT will be allowed to take part in PET as described below :-

• Constable (Male) : – Long Distance Run – 800 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 03 minutes 30 seconds).
• Constable (Female/Third Gender) : – Long Distance Run – 800 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 4 minute 30 seconds).

Pre Exam Syllabus:

• Applicants provisionally considered eligible shall have to appear for this MCQ based Written Test.
• There would be 100 Objective type questions having multiple choice (four choices) of answers carrying equal marks each.
• The duration of the examination will be 1(One) hour. Question paper will be set in three languages (English, Bengali & Nepali) except questions on English language.
• Question of the Written Test shall be from the following subjects:-
