Delhi Police SI Eligibility Details 2023:

Essential Qualification

• The candidate must have passed Graduation form a Recognized University or equivalent.
• The candidate who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply.
• However they must possess essential qualification on or before the cur-off date i.e. 15-08-2023.

Selection Process of Delhi Police Recruitment 2023:

The selection of the candidates will be complete on the basis of these tests –
1. Written Exam
2. Trade Test
3. Medical
4. Final Selection

• The examination will consist of
  • Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET),
  • Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
• All these stages of the examination are mandatory.

Important Note:-

• Objective type multiple choice Questions.
• Online Computer Based Written Exam.
• There will be Negative marking of one-third of marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper- 1 and Paper- 2.
• The questions will be set both in Hindi and English.

Physical Endurance Test (PET):

Male Candidate:

• 100 metre race in 16 seconds
• 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
• Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chance
• High Jump: 1.2 metre in 3 chance
• Shot Put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chance

Female Candidate:

• 100 metre race in 18 seconds
• 800 metre race in 4 minutes
• Long Jump: 3.7 metre in 3 chance
• High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chance

Physical Standard Test (PST):

Physical Measurement Test shall be taken only of those candidates, who qualify the Endurance Tests.
