Qualification Details

Post	Qualification
Junior Droughting Officer (In Highways Department)	A Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from any University or Institution awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training of the concerned State Government; Note: Provided that while making appointment by direct recruitment to the post of Junior Droughting Officer, preference shall be given if other things being equal, to those who have undergone one year of apprenticeship training under the Government of India Scheme or the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme.
Junior Droughting Officer (in Public Works Department)	Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education; OR Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Junior Droughting Officer (in Public Works Department)/ Junior Technical Assistant (In Handlooms and Textiles Department)	Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education; OR Diploma in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Director General of Employment and Training, Government of India or by the All India Council for Technical Education. i) Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification.And ii) Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi or from any other recognised Institute of Handloom Technology. OR Diploma in Textile Manufacture obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Madras or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
Junior Engineer (In Fisheries Department)	Must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone apprenticeship training for a period of not less than one year under the Government of India Schemes or State Government apprenticeship training scheme.

How To Apply

Candidates has to apply online through the official website of TNPSC, which is www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.in.

1. Candidates has to register themselves by using the OTP by aadhar and pay the OTR ( One Time Registration) Rs. 150. The one time registration is valid till five years from registration date. All the applications should be submitted using the One Time Registration ID and password registered by the applicant.
2. Applicants should enter the Unique ID and password to view information and update them. They should not share the ID with any other person.
3. One Time Registration is not an application for any post. It is just a collection of information from the applicants and provides a separate dashboard to each applicant to Make of their own profile. Applicants who wish to apply for this recruitment shall click “Apply” against the recruitment notified in the Commission‟s website using the same USER ID and PASSWORD given for ONE TIME REGISTRATION.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on,

1. Marks Obtained by them in the written exam.
2. Then they will called for Document Verification Round.
3. After verification of the original document they will be called for the final selection through counseling method.
